Raucous folk music dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century!

Man The Lifeboats have been winning over audiences and drawing comparisons to Bellowhead, Waterboys, Oysterband, the Levellers, and of course, those folk-punk heroes the Pogues. A five-piece band, they have been a great hit on the festival circuit with their high energy performnces. With their songs crafted with big choruses that tell stories, straight-up lyrics with pounding bass lines, furious banjo and fiddle melodies and a stomping beat, the Uxbridge Folk Club will be experiencing an evening the likes of which it has never seen before.
